SAFETY & DIRECTIONS FOR CORRECT USE – CHILDREN

It is very important that you follow the safety advice provided below to prevent any potential choking or strangulation hazards from occurring:

  • Do not allow the child to chew on the necklace or bracelet.

  • Amber jewellery for children under three (3) years old should always be worn under adult supervision to prevent a possible choking hazard.

  • Remove the necklace or bracelet from the child when unattended, even for short periods of time.

  • Remove the jewellery when the child is sleeping, both during the day and at night.

  • Do not allow your child to tug or pull excessively on the jewellery, as this can weaken the cord over time.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE – CHILDREN

  • Place the necklace, bracelet, or anklet on the child so it rests gently against the skin. The jewellery is for wearing only.

  • Do NOT let the child put the jewellery in their mouth, suck, chew, or play with it.

  • Supervise the child at all times while wearing amber jewellery.

  • Remove jewellery when the child is sleeping, bathing, or unattended.

SAFETY & DIRECTIONS FOR USE – ADULTS

Although amber jewellery for adults is generally safe to wear, please follow these basic care and safety recommendations to maintain the quality of your jewellery and ensure comfortable use:

  • Always handle your amber jewellery with care. Do not pull or stretch elastic designs excessively.

  • Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, exercising, or sleeping to prevent stress on the cord or clasp.

  • Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, sunscreens, oils, or household chemicals, as these can damage amber over time.

  • Clean with a soft dry cloth and store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and other metal jewellery.

  • Amber is a natural resin and may darken slightly with age. This is a normal characteristic that adds to its uniqueness.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Amber jewellery is made from delicate fossilized tree resin. Handle gently when putting on or removing to avoid over-tightening the clasp.
  • Remove your jewellery for bathing and swimming to prolong the life of the silk or elastic cord.
  • If your jewellery becomes dirty, wash gently in lukewarm water with mild soap if necessary. Dry flat in the shade.
  • Avoid exposure to perfumes, lotions, powders, or repellents, as they may damage the cord or dull the amber surface.
  • Store amber separately from metal jewellery in a soft cloth pouch. Keep away from heat and fluorescent lighting to prevent discolouration.
  • Avoid excessive pressure on elastic bracelets and anklets. Put them on carefully to maintain flexibility.
